Rich Homie Quan’s father reveals the secret about his son’s pas/sing: It’s te:rrible!

Rich Homie Quan’s father breaks his silence on the rapper’s passing.

“Unbearable pain,” Corey Lamar wrote via Instagram. “Lord please please please help me to understand this. To lose my son (my 1st born, my best friend. Lord let this be a dream…”

The post continued, “Y’all pray for me and my family. I feel like I’m crushed into a million pieces…”

Fans showered the Lamar with a lot of love and support under the post shared by The Shade Room. “Grieving PAIN of losing a loved one will never ever go away also y’all CONNECTION will never ever go away either. Spirits never die. The energy multiplies eternally. The see you. They feel you. They walk with you. The spirit they are is with the spirit you are. Rns.”

We previously reported that Rich Homie Quan, whose real name is Dequantes Lamar, passed away on Thursday at his Atlanta home. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Quan’s girlfriend, Amber Williams found Quan unresponsive on the couch, with no heartbeat and foaming at the mouth at the time of his passing.

Quan was most known for his hit songs “Type of Way,” “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” and “Walk Thru.” His family told TMZ they are “shattered” and “heartbroken” by the rap star’s sudden death.

Fellow rapper Lil Boosie shared a series of tweets paying his respects to Quan. “Just got word Rich Homie Quan just OD !! Just talk to Wuan the other day.”

He continued: “Just talked to you bra #tipQuan. Never gonna forget yo smile n the way talked n of course yo music [100 emoji]. We got some good ass memories together n that go always bring a smile to my face #restupquan We was cooking up some sh*t too.”
