Princess Lilibet can be seen in a new family photograph running to embrace her father, Prince Harry.
A new photograph of Princess Lilibet was released this week
The young princess, three, was pictured alongside her brother Prince Archie, five, as they ran to embrace their parents in their Montecito garden, a place they lived since 2020.
While the two youngsters’ backs were included in the picture, their faces were not shown, a move believed to have been done to protect their privacy.
However, from the brief details shown of Lilibet, including her long hair, knee-high white socks and blue and white dress, royal fans are convinced she resembles her royal cousin.
Although the pair have never been pictured together, fans are convinced Lilibet looks just like Princess Charlotte when she was younger, the daughter of Prince Harry’s estranged brother Prince William, just from the look of her hair and dress sense.
This comes after Charlotte, nine, has spent years sporting a number of blue and white dresses, often accompanied by white socks similar to those worn by Lilibet in this new snap.
On X, one fan wrote: “Why is Lilibet dressed like Princess Charlotte when she lives in sunny Cali?”
A second said: “She looks like Princess Charlotte?”
While some comparisons were made between the royal cousins, who are believed to have hardly met one another, people were also quick to point out how tall Princess Lilibet is, along with how long her hair is.
Princess Charlotte wore a number of similar outfits when she was younger
One royal fan wrote on X: “Love seeing our beautiful Princess Lilibet Diana’s long hair.”
Another said: “Lili is so tall now and both have beautiful red hair.”
A third commented: “Those Spencer genes are strong.”
The photograph of the family is one of very few released of Princess Lilibet since she was born in 2021 in California.
The three-year-old princess is only believed to have visited the UK once in 2022, while her brother Prince Archie was born in Britain in 2019, less than a year before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit life as senior royals in 2020.
