Prince William is set to go head to head with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as it is revealed that his new documentary will air on Disney+.

Disney+ confirmed that “Prince William: We Can End Homelessness” will premiere on the popular streaming service on November 1.

The two-part documentary will give a behind-the-scenes look at the first year of William and The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme. The show will aim to change the perceptions and demonstrate that it is possible to end homelessness.

The release will see the royal go head to head with his brother and sister-in-law, who signed a five-year multi-million-pound deal with rival streaming service Netflix in 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed their deal with Netflix shortly after they announced their plan to step down as senior working royals.

The couple also previously signed a lucrative deal with Spotify in 2020, however, this came to an end in 2023.

Meghan and Harry – who are parents to Archie, five, and Lilibet, three – are currently in the process of producing two upcoming series for Netflix.

The Duke, 40, will release a show that is focused on his love for polo. Meghan, 43, will be releasing a lifetstyle series to accompany her new brand, American Riveria Orchard.

Prior to its release on Disney+, William’s documentary will air at 9pm on ITV1 on Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31.
