Prince Harry clings to ‘only door’ back to Royal Family for ‘key’ reason
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have bought a new property in Portugal and according to a source, there is a particular reason for their latest move.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new home in Portugal could provide the Duke with “the only door” back to the Royal Family, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have bought themselves a new holiday home on the Portuguese coast, not far from where Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank have one, according to a report by the Mail earlier this week.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express revealed this weekend that the couple’s new property is located in Comporta, in the same resort where Eugenie’s home is located.
Now a royal source said that by choosing to spend time in Portugal with Eugenie, Harry can give his children a chance at being “raised as royal children”.
The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Royal Family since his sensational departure and move to the US in 2020.

Harry and Meghan now reside in Montecito, California, along with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The couple have no base in Britain after they were evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year following Harry’s memoir release.
A source told the Mail: “Harry must know his children are not going to grow up as friends of William’s children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
“A bond for Lilibet and Archie with Eugenie’s kids will be the only royal friendship they will have.

“Most likely, August and Ernest are the only cousins they are going to ever spend time with.
“So time in Portugal, even just for holidays, means that Harry is keeping the only door to the Royal Family just a little bit open for himself and for the next generation, and raising them as royal children, at least in some way.”
