Piers Morgan has shared a picture of himself with the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, labelling her his “favourite Duchess” following his ongoing row with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Piers Morgan gave a shoutout to Royal Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, dubbing her “My favourite Duchess” to his online fanbase.

The broadcaster took to Instagram with a snap showing him and Sarah smiling broadly. Piers has been vocal recently about his disdain for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle whom he branded “spoilt brats” after they announced their new project close on the heels of an update regarding Kate Middleton’s health.

In his Uncensored column, the ex-Good Morning Britain host noted: “The gap was only 100 minutes, but it might as well have been 100 light years.” He observed that at 4.29pm Monday, Princess Kate released an emotive video discussing her experiences with cancer, followed by Netflix releasing a promo for the Sussexes’ new documentary at 6.09pm.

Piers, aged 59, continued: “Of course, it may just have been a stupendous coincidence but if you believe that, then I’ve got some very dodgy old Ford Cortinas to sell you.”, reports OK!.

After walking out on Good Morning Britain in 2021 due to a dispute over comments he made about Meghan Markle’s revealing interview with Oprah, Piers identified Sarah as one of the royals who had his back. Recounting the incident and a supportive message he claims to have received from the Duchess in his Mail on Sunday piece, the television star revealed: “‘People have said how much they miss your morning joy and humour,’ texted Sarah, Duchess of York, ‘get back out there!’

“Perhaps we should start a new breakfast show together… ‘Morgy and Fergie in the Morning’, anyone?'” Sarah, the Duchess of York, has reportedly snubbed the chance to be in the spotlight on Strictly Come Dancing’s 20th anniversary special, according to The Express

A “source” revealed that Sarah, aged 64, rebuffed the BBC’s proposition made months ago, despite their desire to have her as a standout contestant for the dance contest. “It was turned down immediately and no discussions took place, as the Duchess doesn’t consider reality TV offers,” stated the insider.

Although she’s steering clear from reality TV, Sarah has been seen on several television programmes. Even with mixed reviews, she had a stint as guest presenter on ITV’s This Morning last year.
