Meghan shares two children with Prince Harry
Meghan Markle has revealed the one thing that she is looking forward to during the festive period with her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a new interview with Marie Claire, Meghan discussed her love for the Christmas season – as well as the excitement of her children.
Speaking of Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, Meghan said that she is enjoying the ages her children are currently at – and is especially looking forward to seeing the festivities through their eyes.
Meghan told the publication: “At first, I think as a mum with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet.
“But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”
Discussing how she and Prince Harry are planning on making this Christmas special for Archie and Lilibet, Meghan shared that they like to carry out popular traditions like many parents across the world. Meghan – who lives in California with Harry, Archie and Lilibet – said that the family’s traditions include leaving “carrots for the reindeer”.
Discussing what the family get up to, Meghan added: “We’re always making sure we have something fun to do. Like any other family you spend time having a great meal and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar — fun.”
Meghan and Harry are set to spend another Christmas away from the Royal Family due to the ongoing rift. Meghan and Harry last spent Christmas at Sandringham with the royals in 2018.
