Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James married his wife Savannah in 2013.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James was selected first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2003 NBA draft. Entering his 22nd season in the NBA and seventh with Los Angeles, James is in the late stages of his career.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, James enters the 2024-25 season with 40,474 career points. In addition to this unprecedented scoring total, James is a 20-time All-Star, four-time league MVP and four-time Finals MVP.
LeBron and his wife, Savannah James, gave birth to their first child, Bronny, on October 6, 2004. Bronny was selected 55th overall by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA draft, creating the first father-son duo in NBA history.

Savannah was featured during a segment of Uninterrupted’s “Starting 5” docuseries on Netflix. Speaking about her son, husband and several other topics, Savannah also made an admission about her relationship with LeBron.
“That man is crazy,” Savannah said of her husband. “He is crazy. He wants to live in my skin. Like literally, if I let him crawl in my skin he would live there. Both of us are just really young at heart… We are two peas in a pod. That’s my bestie.”
LeBron and Savannah married on September 14, 2013. After welcoming Bronny in 2004, the couple had their second son, Bryce, in 2007 and their daughter, Zhuri, in 2014.
Admitting that she and LeBron are “two peas in a pod” after more than a decade of marriage, Savannah gave some insight into their relationship.
