Karoline Leavitt is under fire after she ignored former President Joe Biden’s devastating cancer diagnosis during a press conference on Monday.

The omission rubbed many the wrong way and led to people slamming the press secretary for her lack of decorum during a sensitive time.

“Karoline Leavitt’s a vile piece of trash, a shameless liar. Wearing that cross necklace like some kind of holy shield while acting like a soulless snake, she’s a hypocritical fraud, spewing hate instead of showing decency,” someone said on X.

“She couldn’t come up with anything remotely Christian like to say without bursting into flames,” another person posted.

“All that venom for a man facing a life-threatening illness. You don’t have to respect him politically but basic human decency isn’t that hard,” someone else said.

“That’s a pretty big omission, if true. You’d expect at least a mention or clarification,” another person pointed out.

Later on in the press conference Leavitt couldn’t help taking a cheap shot at the former president as she touted how the “Big, Beautiful Bill” would make up for the Biden administration’s failures to update our FAA systems.

“The previous administration failed to act and do this themselves despite repeated warnings,” she said.

Biden’s office announced on Sunday that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, with the former president exploring “treatment options.”

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” a statement from Biden’s personal office said.

The Democrat is residing in Wilmington, Delaware. However, it is unclear where he will undergo treatment.

Prostate cancer develops in the prostate gland, which is part of the male reproductive system and located just below the bladder. The term metastasis indicates that the cancer has spread from its original location (in Biden’s case, the prostate) to other parts of the body.

According to The Cleveland Clinic, prostate cancer is the second-most common cancer in males, following skin cancer.
