Karoline Leavitt is now known as the former President Donald Trump’s press secretary but a political ad from two years ago shows the harsh reality of the 27-year-old

A political attack ad accusing Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt of being a “woke Gen-Zer” during her doomed run for Congress has resurfaced.
Two years ago, a GOP Super PAC with a reputation for exposing Republican candidates launched a scathing ad against Leavitt as she campaigned for Congress seat in her native New Hampshire. The Defending Main Street super PAC dropped the bombshell ad, which took digs at Leavitt’s age by featuring a clip of her saying “Listen up, ho bag” into her phone.
Meanwhile the voiceover said: “She wants to bring her generation’s new vision to Congress. You know, mooching off her parents, [and] running up huge credit card debt.” The narrator went on to accuse Leavitt of pretending to be a conservative when she’s really a “woke Gen-Zer.” It resurfaced as Fox News was forced to cut away from a Leavitt White House press conference after a humiliating blunder.
The ad also flashed a pic of Leavitt wearing a mask and said she worshiped Dr. Anthony Fauci’s mask mandates.
At that time, Leavitt clapped back at the ad, stating, “The same Super PAC running negative ads personally attacking me is the same group who supported the weak Republicans that voted to impeach President Trump, so it’s no surprise they are spending millions to help Matt Mowers get to Washington.”
However, the ad has resurfaced on the internet and is sparking new reactions. “Basically she’s a typical MAGA sell-out to get some fame and money,” a viewer posted in response to the video on X. And someone else chimed in: “God, she’s horrible either way.”

Today, Leavitt is known as a staunch defender of Trump and his agenda. Yet, at the young age of 23, Leavitt leveraged a White House internship in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building’s mailroom all the way to the role of assistant press secretary in Trump’s initial administration. She asserted that she battled “against the biased mainstream media,” as her campaign website’s archived page tells it.
Her bid for Congress kicked off in July 2021 from her father’s used truck dealership in Plaistow, New Hampshire. Leavitt emerged as one of the country’s youngest hopefuls for Congress.
Still, amidst a packed field of ten competitors, she lagged significantly in early primary polling. Leavitt’s claim to distinction among her opponents was her zealous support of the MAGA agenda, especially her championing the baseless claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump, just as the president himself continued to cling to election denialism.
