The Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte Showcase Their Mother-Daughter Style
Trooping the Colour 2025 is in full swing, and Princess Charlotte has made quite the entrance. Riding in a carriage alongside her mother, Princess Kate, Charlotte was photographed wearing a light turquoise dress, adorned with a sparkly brooch, subtly matching mom Kate. Both mother and daughter seemed to be delighted to be attending the prestigious celebration. Charlotte’s siblings, Prince George and Prince Louis, are also in attendance at the summer event, and they appear to be having a ball.
For the occasion, Kate Middleton opted for an aquamarine coat dress by Catherine Walker known as the “Bria,” channeling her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, who was a huge fan of the designer. Kate’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, wore a lighter aquamarine shade, with her sweet dress leaning more towards baby blue. The subtle coordination sent the message that the mother-daughter duo are incredibly close.

Charlotte and Kate also wore coordinating outfits at Trooping the Colour in 2024. While Princess Kate opted for a white ribbon dress featuring navy accents by Jenny Packham, which she paired with a Philip Treacy hat, Charlotte wore a navy dress with white ribbon detailing—essentially her mother’s outfit in reverse. The striking contrast made quite the impact as the pair posed on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the rest of the Royal Family.

In Green: Elegant and Refreshing Like Spring
At a recent outdoor engagement, the Princess of Wales and young Princess Charlotte delighted royal watchers by stepping out in coordinating green outfits. While Kate looked graceful in a classic tweed midi dress, Charlotte charmed everyone in a sweet short dress with a matching green bow in her hair. The harmony in color and style was more than a fashion choice—it was a lovely reflection of their close bond, blending royal sophistication with a relatable family warmth.
In Pink: Sweet and Heartwarming
Pink, the color of tenderness and femininity, often graces the wardrobes of both Kate and Charlotte during more relaxed or family-oriented events. At a recent community visit, they stole the spotlight in charming pink outfits: Kate in a pastel pink dress with delicate tailoring, and Charlotte in a baby-doll pink frock adorned with floral prints. The sight of them holding hands and smiling under the soft afternoon sun melted hearts across the nation.
In Black: Poised and Respectful at a Solemn Moment
At a recent memorial service, Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte appeared in perfectly coordinated black ensembles that struck a respectful and elegant tone. Kate wore a structured black coatdress paired with a simple hat, embodying grace and dignity. Charlotte, walking closely beside her mother, mirrored the tone in a modest black dress with a traditional collar. The matching outfits reflected more than fashion—they symbolized unity, reverence, and a gentle introduction for Charlotte into the deeper traditions of royal public life.
