Everyone is praising the late singer Amy Winehouse for revealing Kanye West’s secret: “She wasn’t wrong!”

People are praising the late Amy Winehouse for calling Kanye West a ‘c***’ in 2008 as the rapper is slammed for antisemitism.

The 47-year-old, also known as Ye, has courted controversy over the past week after appearing at the Grammys with his nearly-nude wife Bianca Censori.

He then took to X where he posted a series of offensive, antisemitic tweets including calling himself ‘a nazi’ and declaring his ‘love’ for Adolf Hitler. During the Super Bowl, he shared an advert for his website which was taken down for selling only one item – a $20 swastika t-shirt.

Over the years several celebrities have slammed West, who has previously expressed antisemitic views.

These include Friends star David Schwimmer who has called him a ‘deranged bigot’ and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian who voiced her solidarity with the Jewish community in 2022 (a year later West posted an apology letter to the Jewish community in Hebrew).

Now people are discovering that the Back to Black hitmaker was calling out West as far back as 2008, in an ‘epic’ Glastonbury performance.

In the resurfaced video, Winehouse – who died aged 27 in 2011 – is singing her 2006 song some unholy war at the major music festival when she ad-libbed the line ‘at least I’m not opening for a c*** like Kanye’ in her usual vocal style.

And plenty have voiced their love for Winehouse’s ‘ahead of her time’ observation.

British model Cara Delevingne, who used to be close with West and Kardashian, reposted the clip on her Instagram story with the caption: ‘Amy Winehouse hating Kanye West is my favourite thing’.

Over on X, users have been expressing their love for this clip for years.

‘The way Amy Winehouse called Kanye West a c*** and never gave a toss will forever be iconic…’ amywinehouse_uk wrote.

‘Amy Winehouse was so real for this and ahead of her time in her hatred for Kanye West,’ lambrinimami said.

‘This is more on point today than ever before. It is sad that 17 years after she sang this, it still needs to be repeated,’ bigvorch posted.

‘She was truly a prophet of her time,’ dcisaak shared.

‘The most beautiful c-bomb in the history of c-bombs,’ Jason C declared.

‘Amy is legend…’ David J Hart praised.

‘Amy Winehouse was spot on when she called Kanye a c***,’ limpbizklit___ added.

‘Any Winehouse nailed it,’ Dan Streetmentioner agreed.

‘Amy Winehouse calling Kanye West a cunt live on stage was hilarious,’ @exc_t echoed.

Elsewhere in West’s hours-long X rants, he also said he had ‘dominion’ over his wife of two years and defended Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs who is in jail while facing charges for sex trafficking and racketeering.

He has since deactivated his account.

Earlier this week, a former employee sued the Runaway artist for allegedly firing her after insulting her looks and messaging her ‘Hail Hitler’.

And there is speculation that his relationship with his architect wife is in jeopardy with reports she’s been left ‘traumatised’ at his rants and ‘horrified by what he has done’, per MailOnline.

The publication also claimed that the pair have split and are heading towards legal proceedings.

However, the couple’s longtime publicist Milo Yiannopoulos shot down these rumours in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

He said: ‘Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumor in the tabloid press.

‘Is this the fifth or is it the sixth time the press has wrongly reported that Ye and Bianca are separating? I’ve lost track.’
