Cardi B has leaned into flop era allegations with a subway skit ahead of the release of her second album, Am I the Drama?

The Grammy winner has repeatedly hit the streets over the past few weeks to sell her upcoming album, which arrives on Friday (September 19), seven years after she dropped her breakout album, Invasion of Privacy.

In her latest skit, which Cardi posted on Friday (September 12), the rapper wore a hoodie, sweatpants and slides while carrying a box of her albums on a subway train.

“Good evening everybody,” the Bronx native told passengers. “I’m out here tryna sell these CDs. I’m trying to change my life around. I used to be a professional ballerina. I’m tryna make a better example for my kids.”

While the rapper stumbled through the train car, she continued, “If you could please buy my new album, Am I the Drama? … $9.99.”

While Cardi continued offering vinyl copies for $20 to $30, one passenger purchased an album, giving the rapper cash that she stuffed into her hoodie.

“Please support a mother of three,” Cardi continued. “September 19! Am I the Drama?

The clip ended with Cardi being surprised by a scurrying rat on the subway platform and hilariously yelling “Oh my God” repeatedly. “Get me out of here,” she concluded.

“7 more days until I find out if I’m going to lose my home…😩 Buy my album to help me save it,” Cardi captioned the post.

Since announcing the release date of her new album, Cardi has been selling Am I the Drama? like a street vendor in true New York fashion.
