Breanna Nix’s Idol Comeback—Not to Sing, But to Judge!

reanna Nix makes her return to “American Idol,” this time sitting at the judges’ table for the live auditions.

The 25-year-old stay-at-home mom took part in the in-person auditions at the CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 6. This marks the first time the franchise has held live auditions at the event.

Nix took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes look at her experience as an “American Idol” guest judge. In the clip, the Season 23 finalist encouraged aspiring singers to audition.

Nix, who was sitting at one of the judge’s seats, excitedly waited for the candidates to perform.

“Hey guys, I am at the first ever in-person CMA auditions for ‘American Idol,’” Nix said to the camera. “I’m getting a seat behind the little judge seats and get to hear people.”


Breanna Nix’s Successful CMA Fest & Opry Debut

Prior to stepping in as a guest judge on “American Idol” live auditions, Nix took the stage at the 19/BMG Takeover at CMA Fest on June 4. The singer performed her hit single “Higher,” which had the crowd buzzing.

Nix also made her successful Grand Ole Opry debut on June 5, receiving two standing ovations for her impressive performance. She performed “Higher” and the worship song “The Goodness of God.”

In an Instagram post, Nix described the experience as “an absolute dream come true.”

She continued:

Thank You, Jesus, for this incredible opportunity—for Your faithfulness and grace in my life. I wouldn’t be here without it. All Glory to God. Thank you @opry for letting me step onto such an iconic stage, surrounded by so many AMAZING people. Wow. This moment is going down in the book of favorite memories—forever.

Nix undoubtedly gained a growing fanbase following her “American Idol” stint, and now her supporters are eagerly awaiting what’s next in her music journey.

One fan commented on her Opry performance, “Hurry and release an album. I don’t listen to Christian music, but I do now. You are such an uplifting human being. Gives me hope.”
