That similarity in the “One More Dance” video comes amid the Celeste Rivas death investigation.
The singer D4vd has been under growing scrutiny since the body of teenager Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of his Tesla, which was abandoned at a California tow lot.
The “Romantic Homicide” singer hasn’t been charged, arrested, or publicly accused by authorities in connection with the teen’s death. However, D4vd – whose real name is David Anthony Burke – has had his house searched by police, lost promotions of his deluxe album, and cancelled his tour.
Now, a chilling similarity to the Celese Rivas death scene has emerged in a D4vd music video.
D4vd Released a Music Video Just Months Ago That Featured a Body Being Placed in a Trunk
According to NewsNation, in February, D4vd released a music video called “One More Dance,” that shows a body being placed in a trunk.
The video shows a man in a bloody white shirt with a blindfold dragging the body before two men put the body in a car trunk. The video also shows a montage of a woman with another man.
Many fans remarked on the trunk similarity, with some seeing a resemblance between the actress in the music video and Rivas.
“Wow, the lady in the videos that resembles Celeste is mind blowing,” wrote one comment writer on the YouTube page for the video.
“We seriously need to start questioning what these artists are putting out,” wrote another person.

“The relation to this video and current situation relating to his car is almost scary,” wrote another fan.
The video has more than 4 million views on YouTube.
However, D4vd plays “both the killer and the victim” in the scene, NewsNation reported.
D4vd’s Music Videos & Songs Are Filled With Death Imagery
In addition, NewsNation reported that D4vd “allegedly had a casket on the stage while he was performing.”
It turns out that D4vd’s music career is full of death imagery. For example:
According to TMZ Minute on Fox News Radio, Dv4d was selling “bloody shirt merchandise” on his website, but took it down amid the investigation.
D4vd’s now-cancelled Withered world tour “includes themes of death and remembrance. Fans entering Burke’s show are greeted by a casket and guest book,” The Los Angeles Times reported.
D4vd’s most-famous song “Romantic Homicide” is accompanied by a music video that features a woman wearing a white dress covered in blood, who lies on a bloody bed. D4vd told Genius that the death in that song and video are not meant to be taken literally.
The “Romantic Homicide” song lyrics include the line, “In the back of my mind / I killed you / And I didn’t even regret it. I can’t believe I said it / But it’s true / I hate you.”
What Else Is Known About the D4vd Murder Investigation?
These are some of the key details to emerge in the probe so far:
Los Angeles police confirmed to NewsNation that they “raided” D4vd’s home looking for possible “blood evidence” in the Rivas death.
According to NewsNation, “a leaked D4vd song mentions Celeste multiple times.” Its a Soundcloud track from 2023 that it titled, “Celeste_Demo unfin.” Rivas was reported missing in 2024.
The confirmation that Rivas was the person found deceased in the Tesla came on September 17 from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, which lists the teenager’s cause of death as pending. The teen’s death is being investigated as a possible homicide, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the remains amounted to a “head and torso.”
The singer and Rivas Hernandez had the same “Shhh…” tattoo.
Rivas’s mom revealed that her daughter had a boyfriend named “David,” TMZ reported.
