Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should know by now that the general public are watching their every move, but that didn’t stop the Royal’s hilarious reaction to Liam Payne’s performance at the Commonwealth Day service.
Yesterday [12 March], Meghan and Harry joined The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William to attend a special service at Westminster Abbey with the Queen to mark Commonwealth Day.
And as well as a performances from Portsmouth Gospel Choir and Ghanaian drum collective One-Drum, and spoken word artist Jaspreet Kaur, One Direction’s Liam Payne took to the stage to cover John Mayer’s song, ‘Waiting On The World To Change’.
When Liam had finished, he turned around to fist bump his two guitarists, and the BBC’s coverage then panned to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – and managed to catch a glimpse of him raising his eyebrows in response, and Meghan bending forward laughing.
Is this what shade from The Royal Family looks like? Do Prince Harry’s eyebrows do all the talking? What was Meghan saying in response? Poor Liam. But also, HILARIOUS.
Needless to say, the subtle reaction didn’t go unnoticed:
