Lil Mikey (real name Michael), a 29-year-old rapper affiliated with Jaro City, was standing in the area of 63rd & Drexel (near a gas station often described in reports) when everything turned deadly in broad daylight.
Witnesses and early scanner details say he had been arguing with another man. The tension escalated quickly — voices rising, words turning sharp. Then, suddenly, the situation spiraled out of control.
A second individual reportedly exited a white vehicle, approached, exchanged words with Lil Mikey, and opened fire. He was struck multiple times (reports circulating say around 10 shots) and was pronounced dead at the scene.
