 Funeral details for Atlanta rapper Young Scooter were released on Friday.

11Alive confirmed the details with the metro Atlanta funeral home for the rapper whose real name is Kenneth Bailey.

A visitation will be held for Bailey at the Donald Trimble Mortuary in Decatur from noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Bailey’s funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the St. Phillips AME Church located on Candler Road in Atlanta.

Bailey will be buried in Walterboro, South Carolina, according to the funeral home.

The 39-year-old died last Friday on his birthday.

According to Atlanta Police, a woman called 911 last Friday to report a fake dispute at a home on William Nye Drive in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood where Bailey was celebrating his birthday.

The caller claimed there were armed men at the house and a naked woman being dragged inside. APD said when officers arrived, they could not confirm those reports.

When officers arrived, they said Bailey attempted to flee and suffered a severe leg injury while jumping a fence. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said he died after the blood loss, ruling his death an accident.

The woman, Demetria Spence, 31, was booked into the Fulton County Jail on Tuesday. She is charged with transmitting a false public alarm.

Spence was granted a $7,500 bond under conditions that she stay away from the scene where the incident happened, weapons, and cannot have any contact with witnesses.

After the arrest, hundreds gathered Wednesday night at Bessie Branham Park in Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood to remember Bailey’s life.

“He gets so much love because he gave so much and he embodied so much love — he was love,” said Baby Jade, a close family friend and well-known podcast host.

Scooter’s mother, brother, and children also attended the vigil, leaning on the community’s support during their time of grief.
