Diddy‘s lawyer Marc Agnifilo has attempted to explain why the accused sex trafficker was in possession of 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Homeland Security allegedly found the huge stash of lubricant during the raids on Puffy’s homes earlier this year as part of a federal investigation following numerous accusations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Speaking to TMZ for the outlet’s upcoming Tubi documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Agnifilo disputed prosecutors’ claim about the number of baby oil bottles that were discovered at Diddy’s home.
“I don’t know where the number 1,000 came [from]. I can’t imagine it’s thousands, and I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything,” he said.
“I don’t know what you need a thousand [for]. One bottle of baby oil goes a long way! I don’t know what you even need a thousand for.”
The attorney then claimed that Diddy simply buys in bulk, accounting for the large amount of baby oil: “He has a big house, he buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home.
“I mean, have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and seen what people walk out of there with? I don’t think it was a thousand [bottles of baby oil]. Let’s just say it was a lot.”
The G-Unit boss posted a photo on Instagram on Wednesday (September 25) of a bottle of baby oil which he renamed “Diddy Oil” and joked that it was hitting shelves “soon.”
DaBaby also poked fun at the Bad Boy boss over his vast collection of lubricant by filming himself with several bottles of baby oil for an upcoming music video.
It is believed that the baby oil was used by Diddy for his alleged “freak off” parties, which involved him forcing women to have sex with male prostitutes while he masturbated to and recorded the encounters, according to prosecutors.
He is accused of using drugs, violence, threats and blackmail to coerce women into participating, while also transporting male sex workers across state lines and internationally.
These freak offs are at the heart of the criminal case against Diddy, which has seen him charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and will remain jailed without bail until trial.
