Prince Harry has finally adjusted to his new life in the US, according to a source, who claims the duke no longer needs Meghan Markle to act as his “security blanket”.

Prince Harry is now “really enjoying his new way of life” in LA as the duke now feels “confident enough” to step out without his “security blanket” Meghan Markle, a source has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex made a number of solo appearances in the past few weeks, travelling to New York, London and Lesotho to champion causes that are close to his heart.
It was a shift from his usual joint appearances with his wife, which, according to a Sussex pal, is part of their new brand plan.
Now a source claimed that Harry has fully adjusted to his new lifestyle across the pond and is more than happy to take back the limelight when attending events.
They told OK!: “Ever since moving to America, it’s taken Harry a long time to feel comfortable and confident enough to go out on his own and he is really enjoying this new way of life.

“Before he always used Meghan as a bit of a security blanket as he felt quite lost in his new role, which was completely different to his old royal life and what he had been used to.
“He was always happy to let Meghan take the limelight as she thrived in big public events and he would take her lead.”
The source added: “He did feel overshadowed at times but he was happy for that while he adjusted to a whole new way of life.”
Meanwhile, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe agreed and said Harry appeared to be acting like his “old self” during his solo appearances in comparison to how he acts when he’s with Meghan.

He said: “We know that Harry is very defensive of Meghan and we’ve seen him on some jobs where he hasn’t looked his normal self when he’s with her.”
It comes as a Sussex source claimed that the new string of solo appearances is part of their new plan, which will see them focus on their individual projects and attend more events separately.
Explaining in three simple words, the insider said Harry and Meghan were adopting a “twin-track approach”.
The insider told People: “The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals – not just as a couple. The Duke appears focused on his patronage work, and the Duchess focuses on her entrepreneurial track. It’s clear that a twin-track approach is evolving.”
