Curtis Jones’ partner has celebrated a special family update to mark her daughter’s first birthday. Saffie Khan and the Liverpool FC midfielder welcomed their first child into the world on this day last year.
The two are the proud parents of baby daughter Giselle and regularly share updates from their happy family life on Instagram. Saffie has taken to social to share some of the family celebrating the special day. She captioned the post: “Happy 1st birthday Giselle.
“A whole year of you. You’ve completely changed our lives and filled them with so much happiness. We are so proud to be your mummy & daddy and we love you more than anything the happiest, funniest girl.”
People took to the comments to wish the happy family well on Giselle’s first birthday. Lilly Gerrard, who welcomed her first child into the world this year, said: “Happy birthday beautiful girl. “
Djibril Cissé’s ex-wife Jude said: “How is she 1 already.” Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, who is close friends with Jones and Saffie, shared a heart emoji.
Saffie announced the birth of their baby girl on October 15 last year. In a joint Instagram post from her and Jones, the couple said: “Giselle Delilah Jones, 13.10.24. You are our entire world.” This was accompanied by a series of pictures of the couple and their new baby daughter.
Jones put in a superb performance in the first game after her birth as he scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Chelsea. He also won the penalty converted by Mohamed Salah, in addition to scoring the winning goal in the game at Anfield last season.
After Jones scored the winning goal, he celebrated by sticking his thumb in his mouth, referencing the birth of his daughter.
Back at home, Saffie was happily watching on with Giselle.
She shared a clip of Jones goal and him celebrating on her Instagram story and said: “A goal for Giselle.” She also shared a picture of Curtis holding their daughter when he returned home from Anfield.
