A homeless woman was found nearly frozen to death in frigid temperatures before quick-thinking bystanders saved her life.

Convenience store manager Faris Hussain found the woman – a regular customer named Bobbi – ‘stiff as a rock’ in the snow outside Evans Food Mart in Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday.

‘When I heard her name, it was one of my good customers,’ he told First Alert 4.

Hussain and another customer immediately ran outside to rescue her. Temperatues plunged to a low of 38F on Thursday.

He lifted Bobbi up brought her inside, later saying her body appeared frozen solid.

‘She felt like a rock, stiff as a rock,’ he said.

Hussain was seen in security camera footage shuffling through the snow with Bobbi in his arms.

As she began to finally warm up, Bobbi thanked Hussain and the other customers. She had been outside the entire night.

Police and paramedics responded between 9am and 10am to transport Bobbi to the hospital. Her condition is unknown, according to CBS.

Hussain knows all of his customers and said he tries to help them as much as possible.

‘If they come here on the daily I know them,’ he told WFAA.

He allowed another homeless man named Marlon to warm up in the store amid the treacherous snow and ice.

‘I was falling down and felt like I was going to die,’ Marlon said.

Hailed as a hero, Hussain said he was just glad he could help someone in need.

‘I don’t really consider myself a hero or nothing but we do this on the daily for our community.’

It came just days before a winter storm sent temperatures plummeting and wreaked havoc across the US on the weekend.

Temperatures dipped as low as 15F in Fort Worth, according to

AccuWeather.

Prolonged exposure to low temperatures can cause hypothermia, frostbite or even cardiovascular strain.

Fort Worth organized warming stations and overflow shelters for its more than 2,000 unhoused residents, WFAA reported.
