Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ‘offered luxury six-bedroom home’ amid arrest scandal
Speculation is swirling over Andrew
eports claim that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be looking to flee to new pastures following his arrest.
The disgraced former prince has been hitting the headlines following his arrest on February 19 and the subsequent investigation into his actions.
Now, fresh claims suggest Andrew could be eager to leave the UK.

Officers poked around the 30-room property for several days, seemingly on the hunt for potential evidence of Andrew’s alleged crime.
The specific details of the allegations of misconduct being investigated are unknown. Andrew was released under investigation after 11 hours in custody, the same day he was arrested.
The latest tranche of Epstein files renewed scrutiny upon his relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Following the release of files, Andrew was accused of sharing sensitive and confidential documents with Epstein during his time as a UK trade envoy.
Being pictured or named in the Epstein files does not necessarily indicate wrongdoing. Andrew has continuously and vehemently denied wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
Claims over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s future ‘unravelled’
Now, new claims suggest that Andrew could be looking to take a flight and move elsewhere, given the mounting scrutiny he is facing.
Andrew is known to share a friendship with United Arab Emirates ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, so choosing the UAE as a sanctuary could make sense.
As per The Mirror, the Sheikh allegedly offered Andrew the use of a plush 16,000 sq ft pad.
The home is said to be fully staffed and boasts six bedrooms.
It also is said to offer Andrew some privacy, as it is located within a secure diplomatic area.
Despite this, royal expert and author Andrew Lownie reckons Andrew has another location in his sights.
As the Emirati rulers value their relationship with King Charles, Lownie believes that they wouldn’t wish to endanger that. Meaning, their offer isn’t likely to come to fruition.
Instead, Andrew is probably considering elsewhere.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ‘bound for UAE’
“If he were to go to the Middle East, they wouldn’t want to upset the royal family,” he claimed. “He would have to go with the [British] royal family’s approval – which if that were known would be very unpopular – because their links with the king are more important than their links with Andrew.”

Lownie thinks that another surprising location could be on Andrew’s radar instead.
Could Andrew move to China?
“The other option, because he’s not going to go and join Assad in Moscow, is China. Mountbatten-Windsor has ‘lots of business activities’ in China,” he explained: “His former secretary Amanda Thirsk works for a Chinese company. He’s very close to the Chinese ambassador – when no-one went to his birthday party a couple of years ago, the Chinese ambassador turned up.”
“I have no evidence of any of this except my instinct,” he said. “But that would be a place he could go. He could get lost there. It would be a big ‘two fingers’ to Britain from Xi Jinping. He could go and see his mates. Go all over the place in a private jet, but that would be a base.”
Although Lownie’s theories sound viable and details regarding Andrew’s legal situation have not been shared, it typically isn’t advised to leave the country whilst under investigation, even without bail conditions.
Representatives for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been contacted for comment.
