GloRilla has reacted to Ciara dressing up as her for Halloween and recreating a viral video of the Memphis rapper.
Ciara took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 30) to showcase her Halloween costume, which was identical to the outfit Big Glo wore during her recent interview with Complex, right down to the giant hoop earrings and “YWR” chain.
The “1, 2 Step” star took her impersonation further by recreating GloRilla’s interview, which went viral due to her thick Memphis drawl and pronunciation of words like “newsfeed,” “cute” and “beautiful.”
In the clip, Ciara also raps along to Glo’s hit single “Whatchu Kno About Me” with Sexyy Red.
She also posted the video on her own Instagram page and captioned it: “One thing about it CICI gone do df outta Halloween lmao I luv dis @ciara.”
Ciara replied: “Haha:) Love you Glo! [smiling face with hearts emoji] [face blowing a kiss emoji].”
GloRilla appeared to unveil her own Halloween costume last week when she showed off an enormous baby bump on social media which fans were convinced was fake.
Despite sporting a flat stomach during recent performances and public appearances, the 25-year-old doubled down on her claim by writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Why would I be wearing a Halloween outfit dis early? Be fr.”
She even posted pictures of herself posing with a pregnant belly and being hugged by her alleged “baby daddy”: actor Abraham “Da’Vinchi” Juste (who is best known for playing drug kingpin Terry “Southwest T” Flenory in BMF).
She followed up by commenting: “I’m letting yall kno now ion play about my baby daddy stamp dat.”
Glo’s apparent pregnancy announcement was all the more shocking considering she had just recently admitted that she has no desire to give birth, instead preferring to have children through a surrogate.
Speaking to Charlamagne Tha God for his Out of Context podcast, she said: “I do want to have kids, but not my own kids. I wanna do the surrogate. I want somebody else to have my baby.
“I want them to have my DNA, but I don’t want to have it. I just don’t want to actually have a baby. All of my friends got kids and they’re restricted a lot when they’re pregnant. [Nine months] is too long.”
