Kate Middleton’s sweet tribute to her children

The Princess of Wales looked radiant as she donned a green ensemble today, October 9, whilst visiting the Oxford centre to see how it helps parents and young children to build strong relationships and overcome challenges.

During her public engagement, Kate appeared to pay tribute to her own children.

Tobias Kormind, Managing Director of Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller 77 Diamonds, pointed out Kate’s thoughtful choice of jewellery.

Kormind said: “The Princess of Wales chose meaningful jewellery today, wearing a pair of green amethyst drop earrings – a style she previously wore to a children’s centre in 2023 and which complemented her green outfit.

“She also selected a gold pendant necklace engraved with the initials of her three children, a sentimental favourite she has worn many times before, both jewels reflecting the day’s focus on young children.”

How lovely!

The pendant in question is a Daniella Draper Gold Fixed Alphabet necklace, engraved with the initials G, C, and L for her children – George, Charlotte and Louis.

Earlier this year in April, Kate rocked the necklace during a two-day visit to the Scottish Isles, so it is clearly a go-to in her jewel rotation.

During the engagement today, Kate connected with sisters Mariam Namakula and Sumayya Nabatanzi, both from Oxford. Again, the princess made clear that her children were on her mind, by referring to how quickly they are growing up.

The two sisters were joined by their combined five children, who likely prompted Kate’s comments.

Speaking afterwards, as per HELLO!, Ms Namakula said: “She was enjoying herself with the kids and said ‘the messier it is, the better the fun.’

“Kate was saying Charlotte enjoys the outdoors and doing activities, and making things and how her kids are growing up fast. She said George is 12 years old and would soon be starting secondary school.”

Prince William on Prince George’s future

The Princess of Wales gave a glimpse into the life of Prince George and what his next phase holds. Unsurprising, as Prince William recently mused about his eldest son’s future, in an episode of The Reluctant Traveler with actor Eugene Levy.

When asked about how he feels about Prince George’s future, as a future king himself, he said: “It’s an interesting question and it’s a big question that one. Because there’s lots of things to think about with that. But obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.”

Wills also lifted the lid on George’s studies at Lambrook in Berkshire.

He admitted whilst giving Levy a tour of Windsor Castle that George is far more clued up on royal history than he is.

“George, my son, is way better in history than I am, and I have to check with him now on my dates,” he gushed.
