Curtis Jones’s fiancé shares details of ‘dreamy’ engagement and ‘surprise’

The Liverpool midfielder has been in a relationship with the Scouse model since 2019

Curtis Jones and his girlfriend Saffie Khan announced their engagement last month. A picture of the Liverpool midfielder kneeling on one knee with an engagement ring was posted to Instagram.

The Liverpool midfielder has been in a relationship with the Scouse model since 2019 and the two share a daughter together, Giselle Jones. Adorable snaps shared by both Curtis and Saffie confirmed the engagement.

He popped the question in front of a floral love heart shaped arch, surrounded by flower petals and candles. The landscape was beautiful with water and mountains in the background of the photos.

The Scouse model gives shopping, beauty and lifestyle updates to her thousands of followers on Instagram. Saffie has also started her own YouTube channel. She posts weekly vlogs showcasing life as a new mum, shopping trips and interior design. Jones and Saffie welcomed their daughter Giselle in October 2024.

Saffie has shared her engagement story on TikTok, she detailed the special occasion and offered an insight into how it happened. She told followers that her and Jones were on holiday in St. Tropez when Jones told her that she was being flown to a “surprise” destination by the Red.

Upon arriving at the airport, Saffie found out she was going to Lake Como, Milan. She revealed: “I’ve been telling him for ages that we had to go together [Lake Como] ever since I visited with my family a few weeks ago.”

The two stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a hotel she described as “one of my absolute favourite hotels in the world.” After arriving in Lake Como, the couple went on a boat ride, which was followed by dinner.

The following evening they went out for dinner again and Saffie said it “turned out to be perfect” and she “couldn’t believe it.” Jones had flown in a videographer and photographer to capture the engagement, a drone was also capturing the sweet moment.

An LED light hanging from the flower arch read “Will you marry me?”, one of the images showed Saffie, who wore a long pale pink dress, with her hands over her face as the moment unfolded. Their daughter was also present with Curtis pictured hugging and kissing her.

Saffie added: “Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more surreal, I turned around and saw both of our families standing there!” Her family had been hiding as the couple made their way down a path to the engagement spot.

She hadn’t realised as she “must’ve been so caught up in the moment.” The evening ended with a dinner, attended by the family. It turned into an engagement party for the happy couple.

The social media influencer described the engagement as “so dreamy” and she “can’t get over the flowers.”

Comments celebrated the engagement of the couple. Kelci commented: “This is the most beautiful story so happy for you both” and Danielle wrote “How gorgeous, every detail is so thoughtful, congratulations.”

Betsy responded “I’m just all here for this! Beautiful! Congratulations to you all” and Karly replied “This is so dreamy congratulations.”
