Sarah Ferguson called âdisgrace living in fantasyâ by King Charles
Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew ready to part ways

Sarah Fergusonâs royal real estate ambitions may have hit a royal roadblock.
Reports suggest the Duchess of York is seeking to swap Royal Lodge for the much smaller Adelaide Cottage but royal experts are quick to call foul.
Fergie has lived at the Royal Lodge since 2008 with her ex husband, Prince Andrew, but ongoing scrutiny over the coupleâs links to the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has cast a long shadow over their tenure.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams didnât mince words, telling the Mail, âIf they think that having two homes which the King Iâm sure wonât agree to and is likely to solve things, theyâre still living in a rather weird fantasy world.
Iâm surprised that Sarah Ferguson has managed these comebacks. Thereâs no comeback now, sheâs in disgrace.â
Fergusonâs hopes for a Crown Estate consolation prize may be more fantasy than reality, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.
He slammed the idea of Fergie snagging a separate property, saying thereâs âno reason at all that she should have her own Crown Estate homeâ and warning that any attempt would spark public outrage.
âAndrew had to give up the Lodge and why would we suddenly give them two homes?â he quipped.
âShe hasnât been a working royal since 1996. The idea that she should get anything from the Crown Estate is completely out of touch with reality, just as Andrew has been.â
The commentator added that the pressure on the couple must be immense, noting, âThey hardly know what they are doing or thinking. Itâs extraordinary. Any taxpayer involvement would be extremely controversial.â
King Charles has been keen for his brother and Fergie to leave the house for some time, and their exit now seems imminent.
Fitzwilliams also pointed out the delicate neighbourhood dynamics, âThis was the couple who boasted they were the âhappiest divorced couple in the worldâ.
Now, it seems even they want to separate and the Waleses certainly wonât want them as neighbours. If thereâs one thing William and Kate wonât tolerate, itâs Andrew and Fergie next door.â
A friend told The Sun, âItâs incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways.
But it indicates theyâve been under immense pressure this year and need a break from one another. Itâs a fresh start for both.â
