Princess Kate reportedly wants her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry to finally fix their rocky relationship once and for all, after realising just how precious life is due to her health ordeal.

According to a source, Kate read theories during her chemotherapy treatment about cancer being linked to stress, and it’s prompted her to extend an olive branch to Harry.

“Facing your own mortality changes people. Kate knows how precious life is and to not waste time on the past,” the source told New Idea Magazine.

“During her chemo treatment, Kate read theories on cancer being linked to repressed anger and stress. So she’s making a big effort to let go of any grudges.”

The source added that while Harry may not be fully welcomed into his brother Prince William’s world at the moment, Kate thinks it’s time they were the “bigger people”.

“The ace up her sleeve, as far as William is concerned, is that opening the door for Harry is a way of keeping him from doing something else damaging again,” the source continued.

Once dubbed the famous four, Kate, William, Harry and Meghan appeared to have a close bond in the earlier stages of the latter joining the family.

Following alleged rows and disagreements behind-the-scenes however, Harry and Meghan decided to step away from their senior royal duties in 2020.

The 40-year-old and his wife have since been living in California’s Montecito with their two children; Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

While overseas, they have given various interviews about their time in the Royal Family, while Harry has also shared details about arguments behind closed doors in his autobiography, Spare.

Despite a seemingly fractuted relationship, the Royal Family wished the Duke of Sussex a Happy 40th Birthday last weekend, their first post about Harry in two years.

Reports have also claimed that he has been in touch with his sister-in-law throughout her cancer ordeal.

A source claimed to Heat Magazine: “Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant.

“He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out.

“He’s just so grateful that she’s on the mend and able to get back to her duties after taking time off – as is Meghan.”

Earlier this month, Princess Kate announced that she had finished chemotherapy and was now focused on staying cancer free.

As part of a family video, she added: “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.

“I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
