Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned about a key event in 2025 if they want their new strategy to work, according to a royal commentator.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned they need to take a “financially vital” step regarding their Netflix contract in the new year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed up a lucrative £80 million contract with the streaming giant in 2020 after they stepped down as senior working royals, and the deal is nearing its end 2025.
Harry and Meghan have released four projects in total – their latest one POLO, released earlier this month, Heart Of Invictus in 2023, Live to Lead and their bombshell Harry & Meghan docuseries, both in 2022.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle’s cookery show is expected to be released sometime in 2025.
Now royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that the renewal of their contract is “absolutely pivotal” for the Montecito couple.

He told GB News: “Their separation of work is being tried out, and it worked perfectly well in the sense there have been no glitches. What they need is her cookery series for Netflix.
“What is absolutely pivotal is the renewal of the contract with Netflix next year, so precisely what happens in the coming months financially is vital.
“They lost Spotify a while ago, and it doesn’t seem there is anything substantial financially that we know of that is coming up.
“When American Riviera Orchard and Meghan’s cookery show is launched, that will certainly give her a good deal more than her occasional appearance.”
The couple’s fourth output for the streaming giant, POLO, did not go down well with viewers and critics with many of them giving it negative reviews.
POLO follows elite global players on and off the field, with the “sexy” sport billed in the trailer as showcasing “dirty, sweaty boys…riding”.
The Sussex couple only make a brief appearance in episode five of the series.
Mr Fitzwilliams added: “I don’t think anyone was expecting that to have huge ratings.
“There is no suggestion that Meghan is thinking of going into politics, which I thought at one time she might, but certainly not now, where clearly anything said might enrage Trump, who becomes President in January.
“They have a profile at a certain level. Harry and Meghan were in Times 100 in 2020, so they have a brand, they have got their admirers, and they have got a profile. They’ve changed their tactic, and we will see what it adds up to in the next year.”
