MAFS Australia’s Juliette flees to Thailand after quitting show and makes shock statement about ’emotional manipulation and abuse’
Juliette’s had enough
AFS Australia bride Juliette quit the show tonight following her shocking behaviour on-screen. But now, after receiving online “abuse” she has headed straight to Thailand, with a mystery man.
Over the last few weeks, UK MAFS Australia fans have been witnessing the shocking behaviour from quite a few of the brides. Most recently, it was Juliette who had a huge outburst.
But tonight (April 20), she made the decision to walk away from the experiment once and for all.

Juliette quits MAFS Australia experiment
After Juliette repeatedly erupted throughout the show, tonight saw her make the decision to leave. Well, she didn’t get to write it on her board – instead she stormed off and didn’t come back.
Last week, viewers witnessed a huge screenshot scandal, where Bec said some really nasty things about Alissa and David. Gia had sent the texts to Juliette – who then proceeded to bring them up in front of everyone.
Juliette felt that using the screenshots against Bec, actually made her own actions less of an issue as Bec had done “much worse”. However, this was not the case.
Alessandra decided to give her some honest feedback. She told Juliette: “It’s shocking that you would think that. It makes you look so much worse than Bec. It’s a conscious retaliation with a purpose to hurt.”
Juliette clearly was rattled, and chose that as the moment to leave. Getting up, she told the experts: “I’m covering up so much. And I don’t think this experiment is for me.”
Joel ran after her to try to see what was going on, but in one last outburst she told him: “No, [bleep] off. I’m done. You’re such a dog. You are a dog and a pig. That was horrible. Gaslighting. You just literally – don’t touch me. You threw me under the bus, it’s disgusting. You’re so evil.”

Juliette is currently in Thailand
Following the show, Juliette has jetted off to get away from Australia, after revealing the abuse she has faced online.
In photos uploaded to her Instagram, she has teased another potential wedding one day.
She captioned the photos: “If George and I are single at 45, we will come back and have a lavender wedding on this island. You have our word.”
A lavender wedding is a marriage out of convenience, and it typically involved a queer man and/or a queer woman.
While George is a mystery to the public, he appears to be Juliette’s best friend.
In the carousel of images, Juliette and George were seen at the beach in Thailand, having some drinks, enjoying the sunshine. But her sudden move comes days after she revealed horrific online abuse.

What has she said about the show feedback?
However, since the show aired in Australia, Juliette has apologised for some of her behaviour. Although, she has now revealed she’s been getting some horrible abuse online.
In an extremely lengthy TikTok statement, Juliette claimed there was more that went on behind-the-scenes that wasn’t shown.
She penned: “Now that the show is over, I just want to point out a few things I’ve noticed since being back online. The hate and level of cruel comments I’ve received is honestly sickening. The hypocrisy of people saying what I did to Joel was so bad, only to come back at me ten times harder, is something I cannot even begin to understand.”
She continued: “What I will say is that pushing someone to their breaking point and then shaming them when they break is a form of emotional manipulation and abuse.”
Juliette added that the “way Joel speaks” about her in interviews should show there “was more going on” and she was “pushed” to her limit.
She concluded: “Please choose kindness with your opinions and comments moving forward. You have no idea what the other person on the other side of the phone is struggling with mentally. Or what they have had to overcome to still be here on this earth today.”
