Based on A.J. Quinnell’s 1980s book series, this isn’t the first time the franchise has been adapted. In 2004, Denzel Washington brought Creasy to life in Tony Scott’s film, while Scott Glenn also stepped into the role in an earlier 1987 version.

Netflix’s series is written and created by Kyle Killen (Halo, The Beaver), while Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II) directs the first two episodes.
