A tense row erupted on GB News last night after one broadcaster claimed the Royal Family “forced” Meghan Markle out of the UK.

Claiming that Meghan was “bullied out of this country”, broadcaster Nina Myskow dicussed the former actress with the former News of The World editor Neil Wallis.

As well as the Royal Family, Ms Myskow said that she also blamed the UK press for Meghan and Prince Harry’s decision to quit their royal duties and move to the US.

Speaking about the press, Neil Wallis insisted that he was never told to pursue a particular agenda when it came to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Discussing Meghan, Ms Myskow said: “Meghan Markle was bullied out of this country by the Royal Family and the British media.”

She added: “When she arrived on the scene, she and Harry, who had always been the most popular royal next to the Queen, became magical to the British public.

“The problem with that scenario is that, we have William and Kate, they are the number one.”

Ms Myskow further explained: “They are the ones to take the Royal Family machinery forward. The point being, their popularity overtook that of William and Kate.

“That cannot be allowed to happen because William was the one to keep the Royal Family going.”

GB News host Mark Dolan then hit back at Nina’s comments, saying: “They [William and Kate] haven’t done any podcasts, haven’t done any books, they’ve not done documentaries throwing their family under the bus.”

Mr Wallis then waded in, adding: “The problem we have with Nina’s argument is she is forgetting where she used to work.

“One of the great fallacies that Harry and Meghan would have you believe is the Palace dictated to the British media how these people are covered. This is nonsense and you know it.”

Meghan and Harry made the decision to step down from royal duties in January 2020. The couple moved to the US later that year with their son Prince Archie, now aged five. They later welcomed their daughter in June 2021.
