You did that boy!” he wrote. “…I’ll never let your legacy die! Never saw Quan without Dré or vice versa!… From the womb to the tomb ‘the Richest Homie of them all’ 🤟🏽 chin up chest out 🖤”

“Dear Quan, If you had told me 3 years ago that I would be your pallbearer, I would have probably laughed and said something crazy to you. I genuinely am still shocked, still crying, wishing there was a rewind button for this not to be real,” he wrote. “…In just 3 years of time we built the funniest, realest, coolest, and most genuine brotherhood that I could possibly ask for. I don’t know exactly how it happened but I’m so glad that in the short time I knew you, we grew so close. More Details On Rich Homie Quan’s Memorial Service
As The Shade Room previously reported, Rich Homie Quan passed away on September 5. He was reportedly found at his home unresponsive.
On September 9, PEOPLE published an exclusive interview with the rapper’s family. At the time, Quan’s family explained that details about his homegoing service would be shared with the public. Around the same time, Quan’s father, Corey, called into Yung Joc’s Streetz Morning Takeover Radio show.
While speaking with the platform, Corey explained that he initially wanted Quan’s service to be private so that he and his family “could start the healing process.” However, he realized that “without the fans, there would be no Quan.”
“And I know it would be a disservice to not allow the people that he touched to be able to come to the funeral… to pay their respects to my son,” he explained. “That’s why I said I want it to be a grand occasion.”
Ultimately, Quan’s memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 17, at a church in College Park, Georgia.
At the service, Quan was honored with his own day in Atlanta and South Fulton.
Additionally, DC Young Fly and Killer Mike were some of the figures who shared a few words about the late rapper.
