Rayne from Española, New Mexico is a single mom and a chicken farmer. She introduced her blind boyfriend Chidi from Nigeria to fans in episode 1 and spoke about how she yearned to connect with him in person for the first time in five years. The 33-year-old Chidi from Lagos explained how he lost his eyesight in both of his eyes after a series of unfortunate incidents.

An apple had fallen on Chidi, blinding him when he was in school, and a disoriented Chidi fell and hurt his other eye on a table. Rayne believed she was destined to enter Chidi’s life. Rayne felt a connection with Chidi despite her wild spiritual beliefs in aliens and the Illuminati as opposed to those of Born-again Christian Chidi’s. Rayne called herself a “quirky weirdo” but proved that she was delusional when fans saw Rayne was always on the lookout for fights. One of Rayne’s posts read, “God will heal all pain. Damn I was played. Heart break hotel. How can one be so negative?” A different post read, “I ALWAYS WANTED AND LOVED YOU. … I MUST MOVE FORWARD WITH OR WITHOUT YOU. I GOT THIS.” Rayne added the hashtag, “#NeverletfamilymaketheDecisionsforyou.”

Immediately after Rayne raised suspicions about her relationship status with Chidi, the Nigerian man himself addressed the allegations that had come towards him and his family. Chidi spoke about why he was avoiding sleeping with Rayne. While it did have something to do with him being a born-again Christian, as per screenshots shared by Redditor Sunbearemii, Chidi shockingly revealed that he had told Rayne about his decision much before she came to visit him. Chidi said Rayne had reacted to his decision with “overwhelming anger” and threatened to cancel her visit.

Moreover, Chidi revealed some “unsettling, alien and mystic” things Rayne had said to him when they were together. She asked him if he was ready to be sacrificed. In October, Rayne had unexpected news for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers. She shared a Thread and revealed that she and Chidi were not invited to be a part of the season 7 Tell All. Rayne claimed that she was going to perform a Mariah Carey song even though she didn’t have the “guts” to do it. Rayne added that she was going to perform “Don’t Forget About Us” and was going to try not to cry when she sang it. As per Rayne, Chidi wanted to hear her sing “so bad and she loved him.”

“But luckily we were both uninvited due to all the negativity.”

Rayne added that she found out about her being uninvited at the last minute. She seemed to be blaming 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers for her not attending the Tell All. She claimed that it was “before all this hatred” towards her had started spilling out all over the internet. It’s not known if Rayne and Chidi were both fired because they broke the NDA and Rayne spoiled the outcome of their storyline on the day of the premiere. The network has yet to confirm Rayne’s claims and Chidi has not said anything about it either.
