Taking to her latest column on news.com.au, royal commentator Daniela Elser wrote that, since stepping down fron royal duties, Harry “is not doing particularly well” and suggested that he is not as rich as some of his royal cousins.
Speaking of finances, Daniela discussed Zara Tindall. Writing in her column, she wrote: “[Zara] is also rich. Properly yes-I-might-buy-some-more-diamonds rich, a situation that, prepare yourself, came about by her working for it.”
Aside from being the daughter of Princess Anne – and the eldest niece of King Charles – Zara is known for her success as a professional equestrian. According to The Sun, Zara and Mike Tindall – who is a former rugby professional – are worth a staggering £44 million ($58.4 million).
Speaking of Harry, Daniela wrote: “Could [Harry] – having burned every bridge between Montecito and Clarence House with an untold number of jerry cans of petrol and bile in return for some nice round dollar figures – have ended up … a comparatively poor cousin?”
Discussing that the exact fortune that Harry and Meghan have made since 2020, Daniela claims that these appear “fuzzy” but numbers have been reported within the media ever since.
She wrote: “Of the £112 million ($US100 million) Netflix deal they signed that same year, the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff says that, per a Hollywood source, that actually only banked £16.8 million ($US15 million) for Harry and Meghan.
“They also get an estimated £3.5 million ($US3 million) annually to cover Archewell overheads, of which they ‘keep a small portion personally’.”
Guessing the amount the pair made, Daniela write that the couple’s fortune could total “to about £14.6 million ($26.3 million)”.
Zara and Mike Tindall reportedly have a net worth of £44 million
Discussing other royals, Daniela writes that Peter Phillips – who is Zara’s brother – reportedly has a net worth which has been estimated at over £22.9 million ($30 million). She did insist that they does “sound on the high side”.
Although Princess Beatrice’s finances may be unclear, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is “clearly doing all right”.
Daniela added: “[Edo’s] company Banda property having developed over 400,000 sq ft of London property with a gross development value of $1.3 billion.”
She added: “Edo having sold buildings he owned for £7.4 million ($9.7 million) back in 2018 and being flush enough to have bought the princess an engagement ring with an estimated value of £88,759 ($116,000).”
