Even after putting up 27 points and leading the Lakers to a 124-108 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, LeBron James still found himself in the middle of a different kind of spotlight, this one off the court. What started as a sweet post-game exchange with his wife, Savannah James, quickly turned into a slightly awkward moment that left fans wondering.
As LeBron made his way through the tunnel after the game, he approached Savannah, who was chatting with another man. Nothing unusual at first LeBron gave Savannah a soft kiss, smiled, and greeted the man warmly with a handshake and hug. All seemed friendly and natural. But then, just as the three stood close together, the man made some kind of gesture or comment and Savannah’s reaction lit up the space. She burst into laughter, loud and joyful, the kind that makes you lean in. LeBron? He didn’t laugh. In fact, he stood still, eyes on them, wearing a noticeably serious expression.
