Giggling Princess Kate leads royals at first Order of the Garter ceremony since Andrew stripped of title
THE Royals have held their first Order of the Garter at Windsor Castle since disgraced Andrew was stripped of the honour.
Charles and Camilla were joined by a giggling Kate and Wills for the annual ceremony at St George’s Chapel, marking the oldest chivalric order in the UK.

The Princess of Wales had a front row seat for the Garter Day celebrations and gave husband William a beaming smile.
Crowds of thousands lined up to watch one of the highlights of the royal calendar as Kate acknowledged them with a wave.
Shamed Andy, 66, had not attended the public aspects of the event since his car-crash Newsnight interview in 2019 – but was allowed to join the private lunch and reception.
The King removed his membership last October, which he had held since April 2006, after fresh Jeffrey Epstein revelations emerged.

His Garter stall and coat of arms marking his membership were removed from the chapel.
The removal of the display usually only happens in cases of high treason or taking up arms against the Crown.
Traditionally their banner would be thrown into the chapel for heralds to kick it outside into a ditch.
Forty knights have been removed in disgrace since the Order was founded by Edward III in 1348.
The ancient chivalric order was based on the Knights of the Round Table.
Charles, Camilla, William, Edward and Anne are all members of the order – alongside the likes of Tony Blair, John Major and Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
They walked to the chapel wearing velvet robes and plumed hats.
The King and Queen were at the rear of the Knights, while further ahead was the Prince of Wales, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Royal.
Kate, who is not in the order, arrived by car but rode in a carriage back to the castle with Wills.
The Princess of Wales wore a wide-brimmed pale yellow hat by Jane Taylor, matching Patrick McDowell coat dress and earrings by Robinson Pelham.
The patient princess stood with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, chatting to clergy and a nearby policeman on duty for around 15 minutes before the Garter Knights appeared.
William walked beside his uncle Edward and looked over at his wife who gave him a loving smile in return.
Ahead of the service in the Throne Room three new knights were invested.
They were Lord Hennessy of Nympsfield, Lord O’Donnell, and Lord Burnett of Maldon.
Andy’s cull came after the shamed royal was stripped of his Duke of York and Prince title and agreed to leave Royal Lodge.
He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office in February and is living in exile at Marsh Farm on the King’s Sandringham estate.
