Disgraced ex-prince Andrew set to be stripped of his last remaining honour in final humiliation

But City of London Corporation bosses have held crisis talks on making Andrew relinquish the title — one of the world’s oldest civic honours.
Sir David Beckham, Sir Richard Branson and JK Rowling are among those in the exclusive club, which grants the right to drive sheep across London Bridge and carry a ceremonial sword.
Andrew’s late father Prince Philip had also been granted Freedom of the City of London.
A spokesman for the City of London Corporation said: “Andrew received the honour by virtue of patrimony, which is inherited as the child of a Freeman.
“Applications via patrimony are not considered by our elected members.
“The City Corporation is listening, and will continue to listen, to concerns raised.
“And it will carefully consider the rules that govern how a Freedom is given — and the circumstances in which, and procedure by which, it can be removed.”
King Charles removed “the Style, Titles and Honours” of the ex-Duke of York last month amid growing pressure over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
