Eminem has shocked social media users with the savage response

Eminem has left much of the internet shocked with a savage response after it was claimed you can’t rhyme anything with the word ‘silver’.

Slim Shady is certainly known for his incredible rapping ability – with many of his fans certainly describing him as one of the best in the music biz to do so.

So, Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, was never going to turn down a rapping challenge from someone on social media who perhaps surprisingly doubted him.

Uber Eats put a tweet out saying: “There’s no word in English that rhymes with ‘silver,'” which lead to the Rock The Bells account saying: “@Eminem

you have 24 hours!”

Well, Eminem was never going to take such a challenge likely as he responded just over 24 hours later with a savage response.

Mathers wrote on Twitter: “Silver pilfer kill fer Gilbert’s still hurts steel shirts Bill Burr milf word off kilter no filter chill brrrr feel burn still slur will stir Trent dilfer Val kilmer Still third shield her he’ll squirt Steven Spielberg Lil twerp Wilshire She’ll purr Kill birds milk curd feel worth Real nerd Stans documentary I liked your film sir.”

“This should have like a million likes,” one person penned in the comments, while a second added: “LMAOOOOOOO you’re a genius.”

While his music may be brilliant, there’s no doubt the Slim Shady has been involved in a fair bit of controversy over the years.

Eminem has spoke openly about his struggles with drugs and addiction, though he has been sober for more than 17 years.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ hitmaker said he was embroiled in a ‘vicious cycle’ of feeling ‘depressed’ and needing ‘more pills’ back in 2007 when one day, he happened to wake up in hospital.

“I didn’t how what the f*** happened. It seemed like I fell asleep, and I woke up with tubes in me and s***,” he said in the documentary as per PEOPLE. “I wanted to get up. I couldn’t move.

“After the overdose, I came home going, ‘Yo, bro, I need something… I’m going to die if I don’t do something,'” he added.

Shortly after going into recovery, Mathers provided us with the 2009 album Relapse in the process, and although he admits the reception from fans for the record was ‘lukewarm’, it spurred him further.

“That also turned the lights on and I thought, ‘You’ve gotta do something different,'” he continued. “Why don’t you try embracing sobriety?

“I realized I’m not embarrassed anymore about it, and I started treating sobriety like a superpower. I was proud of the fact that I could quit.”
