Ever since The Voice debuted on NBC in 2011, fans have tuned in every season to watch aspiring artists fight for the chance to become the next music sensation.
Season 26 was no different, with the two-part finale concluding on December 10. As Danny Joseph, Jeremy Beloate, Sofronio Vasquez, Shye and Sydney Sterlace attempted to clinch the top spot, their coaches Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani all had high hopes that their mentees would win it all. In the end, there can only be one winner of The Voice season 26, and that person was none other than Sofronio, with Michael as his coach.
But with Sofronio becoming the season 26 winner, fans of the competition series may be inclined to ask, How much do The Voice winners get paid? Not only that, but what exactly is their overall award? As it turns out, the winner gets quite interesting perks that even the most dedicated viewer may not know.

The Voice season 26 winner Sonofrio Vasquez with his coach Michael Bublé.
According to American Songwriter, Sofronio Vasquez will win $100,000 and a recording contract.
The outlet writes that the monetary prize has been a staple of the show since its inaugural season, and it hasn’t changed since then. What’s more, winners of The Voice have received record deals with some of the biggest musical labels, from Universal Music Group to Big Machine Records. Even though aspects of the record deals may change over the seasons, one thing remains the same: the winners also get the chance to receive any royalties from the sales they make on their music.
All of that is to say, there is a lot riding on the contestants when they make it to the finale.

Even though there are plenty of things hanging on the line for The Voice contestants, winners do often get the chance to receive help from their coaches along the way. For example, after Brynn Cartelli won The Voice season 14, she initially signed with Universal Music Group before switching to Atlantic Records. What’s more, she had the chance to open for her coach Kelly Clarkson on her Meaning of Life tour from January to March 2019.
If Sofronio was this incredible on The Voice season 26, we can only imagine what else is in store for him!
