90 Day Fiancé’s Liz Woods Reveals Major Health Update After Confirming She Has Canc:er Amid Big Ed & Jayson Splits

90 Day fiancé’s Liz Woods covers her mouth in surprise and looks to the side in a montage image.

Liz Woods from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? shared some big news about her health while dealing with heartbreak after her splits from Big Ed Brown and Jayson Zuniga. The San Diego native became a popular face on reality TV after romancing Big Ed on 90 Day: The Single Life. Fans urged Liz to leave Big Ed, who has been crowned a 90 Day Fiancé villain for his treatment of ex-girlfriend Rose Vega, but Liz kept going back to him again and again. She got a chance to move on when Big Ed canceled their wedding.

Liz thought she found “the one” in Jayson, but even he allegedly cheated on her while Liz was undergoing treatment for cancer. Now she’s got a brand-new health update.

Liz never told her followers that she had cancer until after she was done with her treatment. She revealed in passing that she had completed 14 rounds of chemotherapy. Now the 90 Day Fiancé star has taken to her Instagram Stories to tell her followers, “Today is World Cancer Day.” Liz reposted a meme from @thecancerpatient that showed Beyoncé looking motionless, with a frozen expression when Taylor Swift announced her as the winner of Best Country Album at the Grammys.

The caption on the meme said, “I heard you finally beat cancer! Congrats! So you’re good now, right?” Liz wanted to show that she is surprised she’s completed treatment successfully, has tackled cancer and is healthy now. While she doesn’t talk much about her diagnosis online, the meme she shared with the caption, “Hahaha, Happy World Cancer Day,” speaks volumes about her recovery journey.

Liz has been dealing with her cancer diagnosis in silence. Fans wouldn’t have even known about it had it not been for a comment someone posted on Instagram regarding Liz’s rapid weight loss. The fan mentioned that her weight loss secret was that she was undergoing chemo and had been working out. Liz confirmed it wasn’t just a rumor by liking the comment. She soon ran her first marathon in six months in December 2024 as she revealed she had finished her last round of chemo and was also promoted at work.

However, the personal success did not mean everything was going right in her life. Jayson, who had been a constant in her social media posts since they met in October 2023, was missing from her new updates. Rumors suggested Jayson was not with Liz in Chicago during her treatment and was instead spending time with his ex and baby mama in San Diego. Liz subsequently deleted all of her posts with Jayson from Instagram. This means that they might not have a future as a 90 Day Fiancé couple after all.
