EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan has been watching the show from home — and he has one warning for the judges.

Strictly Come Dancing judges have been given a warning
Strictly Come Dancing judges are making one huge mistake, former professional dancer James Jordan has said.A new wave of celebrities and their professional partners are making their mark on the ballroom floor, but in the early days some of them are already climbing really high on the scoreboard. Last week, the two high scores were a total of 37 and 25 for Lewis Cope and Amber Davies, respectively. Lewis’ score saw him get three 9s and the first 10 of the series.
The results came as a shock to a lot of people, but former pro James Jordan was one of them. Speaking exclusively to Express and Freebets.com, the home of the best betting sites, James said: “This week I felt Carlos and Karen were overmarked. The judges gave them 4,7,7,7, I would have given them a five.

James Jordan gave his opinion on the judges overmarking
He continued: “They were overmarked. Jimmy and Lauren, who I love, they raved about their Rumba, but I thought he did a great job for a non dancer, but he was still overmarked. Chris and Nadiya, I felt they were overmarked, I would have given them a three for that Paso, the judges gave them 4,6,6,6.
“Even Harry and Karen, I would have given them a 6 for their Salsa, they got 8,8,8,8. Alex and Johannes, I would have given them a 6 for their quickstep.
“This week in particular, they marked everybody extremely high. I don’t know why. The previous week I thought they were harsher.”
James was then asked what he thinks is the big mistake of overmarking people this early in the competition.
He said, “People don’t have anywhere to go!” We saw a 10 this week for Lewis. He is exceptional. He clearly can dance very, very well. I would have probably given it a 9.
“There were lots of things in this routine that were exceptional, some of his jumps and leaps at the end, it was very dramatic. However, I would have liked to see more strength and positioning in his body. I thought he looked weak at times.”
James said it was still an amazing performance, but it was too early for 10s unless the performance is truly “worth it.” He noted that he wouldn’t have done it at this stage.
