The latest series of the Channel 4 show follows Amanda Owen and her family as they renovate a derelict farmhouse in the Yorkshire countryside.

Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids follows the Yorkshire star renovating an old, derelict building referred to as Anty John’s.

Currently, the programme is in its third series as the latest episode showed the family preparing to celebrate Clive’s 70th birthday, as progress continued on the building with underfloor heating finally getting fired up.

However, it looks as though emotions will be at an all-time high next week for the final episode in the series as Amanda Owen told her followers it’ll ‘tug on heartstrings’.Amanda Owen

Taking to Instagram, the Channel 4 star commented: “I think there’s one more episode next Monday and I think this is- the next one coming is the one that’s going to really tug on the heartstrings because if I remember rightly, it’s about Chalky.”

Chalky was the family’s beloved dog who died at the end of last year. At the time, Amanda told fans the pooch was ‘fading’ and had had a ‘great life’ but was ‘struggling.

Following her video, people were quick to comment on their disappointment that the series is coming to an end. One person said: “Love watching this programme. I’m going to miss it when it ends.”

Another person added: “Best programme on TV right now, always look forward to it, sad that next week will be the last one, best get my hankies ready. Hopefully won’t have to wait too long for the next instalments.”

While someone else shared: “Enjoy the programme so much, wish it would go on always.”

Elsewhere, Amanda thanked people for their support on watching the latest episode, highlighting how nice it was to look back on the progress.

Although it seems as though the family have run into issues this week, detailing the weather conditions and trouble with a water pipe.
