La gobernadora del Banco de México habló sobre los retos que tiene la economía mexicana en los próximos meses

La gobernadora del Banco de México, Victoria Rodríguez Ceja, es optimista sobre el panorama inflacionario en México, ya que en noviembre la inflación general anual se ubicó en 4.55 %, su nivel más bajo en los últimos ocho meses.
Además, la inflación subyacente, la cual mide los precios de productos y servicios más estables, se ubicó en 3.58 %, el nivel más bajo desde abril de 2020.
La decisión que tomó esta Junta de Gobierno el pasado noviembre, donde pues disminuimos nuestra tasa de referencia 25 puntos base y la llevamos a un nivel de 10.25 que, pues junto con las otras tres reducciones que hemos efectuado en el año, básicamente están fundamentadas en la mejora que hemos visto en el panorama inflacionario en nuestro país.
(…) el comportamiento que hemos visto de la inflación subyacente que sigue dando cuenta del avance en el proceso de desinflación en nuestro país, el dato más reciente correspondiente a la inflación en noviembre sitúa a la inflación no subyacente en 3.58 % y este comportamiento es muy relevante, refleja de mejor forma la tendencia de mediano plazo de la inflación, y si bien hemos visto presiones en el componente no subyacente pues aquí hemos de recordar que pues es un componente pues particularmente volátil
¿Cuáles son los retos de la economía mexicana?
En la presentación del Reporte de Estabilidad Financiera, diciembre 2024, la gobernadora de Banxico también abundó sobre los retos que enfrenta la economía mexicana.
En este contexto, seguimos anticipando que la inflación general y subyacente continúen descendiendo hacia la meta. También me gustaría señalar aquí, que en la decisión tomamos en cuenta dos aspectos relevantes del entorno macrofinanciero: por una parte, estamos considerando el entorno de debilidad que está enfrentando la económica mexicana; en segundo lugar, la volatilidad de los mercados financieros que está atribuida en buena medida a factores globales y aquí le diría también que tenemos contemplados todas las variables
Finalmente, concluyó que, durante el segundo semestre de 2024, el sistema financiero mexicano se muestra sólido con niveles de capital y liquidez que superan los mínimos regulatorios a pesar de los riesgos geopolíticos que afectan el sentimiento de los inversionistas a nivel global.
