He told “Pink Shade” podcast, “Well, it depends on how they wanna put it out there.,” When the host asked Kobe, “Did you help with his escape?” Kobe said that while he didn’t “directly” help Michael plan his escape, he did motivate Michael and made him realize his worth. He told Michael that he shouldn’t be in a position where he is “constantly abused.” However, Kobe admitted he did not tell Michael to leave his wife.
