Meghan Markle could be making her return across the pond sooner than expected.

The Duchess of Sussex could return to the UK for the first time in four years this summer to support her husband, Prince Harry, as he kicks off the one-year-to-go celebrations for his Invictus Games in July.

The international multi-sport event will be held in Birmingham, England, in 2027.

Though it’s unclear whether Markle, 44, will attend the Games with her husband, she visited previous ceremonies one year before the event took place in both Canada and Germany in 2025 and 2023, respectively.

“It is far too early to say. No plans have been set yet,” a source told Page Six regarding Markle’s possible trip overseas.

If the “Suits” alum does attend the countdown celebrations this summer, it would mark her first time back in the UK since Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022.

Page Six has reached out to the Sussexes’ rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Markle’s forthcoming attendance will be based on whether the Duke of Sussex, 41, regains access to security while visiting his home country.

Earlier this month, Page Six reported that Harry earned a small victory toward reinstating his security in the UK.

Ravec, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, launched a new risk assessment and determined that the “Spare” author meets the threshold for official protection.

A review is currently underway.

After Harry and Markle resigned from their royal duties in 2020, they were stripped of taxpayer-funded armed security. The couple has not brought their children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, back to the UK since 2022, when they attended Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

In May 2025, the dad of two lost an appeal over the security issue.

Following the loss, Harry said RAVEC “failed to follow its own mandated processes for me, which are applied to all other high-risk and high-profile individuals.”

He also vowed to continue fighting this case by writing to the Home Secretary “to ask her to urgently examine the matter and review the RAVEC process.”

Harry said he “uncovered shocking truths, starting with the fact that the Royal Household are key decision-makers on RAVEC and my sole representation for matters regarding my safety.”

The duke — who is estranged from his father, King Charles III, and brother, Prince William — blamed the royal family for the issue persisting for so long.
