Prince Harry to ‘avoid’ two major royals during UK family reunion

Prince Harry is reportedly set to return to the UK this summer, but it is believed the Duke of Sussex will not cross paths with two key royals.

Prince Harry is unlikely to encounter two senior royals should he make a return to the UK this summer, according to reports.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, is anticipated to visit his home nation to attend a one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games, scheduled to take place in Birmingham.
While unconfirmed, it is understood Harry could attend the event alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, who, apart from airport appearances, has not stepped onto British soil since 2022.
Reports also indicate the couple may bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, on the journey. Should this come to fruition, a reunion with King Charles, Harry’s father, could feature on the family’s itinerary.
While Harry regularly visits his father at Clarence House during his solo journeys to the UK, it is understood the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, together with their children, could meet with him at Balmoral Castle in Scotland this summer.
Royal author Ingrid Seward said, “The only place that really I think they could meet if the King is to get to know or at least see his grandchildren, is at Balmoral.
“It’s the only time the King has time, and the Sussexes could be accommodated there because there are lots of cottages on the Estate.”
However, with multiple royals gathering at Balmoral throughout the summer months, the royal author observed that the King will take meticulous precautions to ensure any visit by Harry to the Scottish residence does not overlap with royals with whom the prince no longer maintains cordial relations.

This indicates that Harry is improbable to encounter his estranged brother, Prince William, or William’s wife, Princess Catherine, during any prospective visit.
The royal author remarked, “I think the King would pick very carefully who was going to be there at the same time, and it certainly wouldn’t be William and Kate.
“If it were, I’d be absolutely astounded.” Harry last saw his father in September, and despite some UK visits this year, the two have yet to meet face to face.
