Zayn Malik, 29, has canceled his UK tour dates so that he can attend the funeral of his One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, who tragically died last month.
Zayn Malik has made an emotional tribute by halting his tour to honor his late bandmate, Liam Payne.
The beloved singer left fans in mourning after a tragic fall from his hotel suite in Argentina took his life at the age of 31.
Liam’s family, after a heart-wrenching period of waiting in South America, are saying their last goodbye’s as he is laid to rest today in the Home Counties.
Zayn, expressing that Liam “supported me through some of the most difficult times in my life”, has cleared his schedule, canceling tour dates to attend the funeral.

Ahead of the UK leg of his tour, which was set to commence this week, Zayn announced that he would postpone his shows to be present at Liam’s memorial service.
He shared with his fans that two Edinburgh concerts have been delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The dates for his anticipated November 20 performance and another November 21 show from his Stairway To The Sky tour have been moved to December 8 and 9, respectively.
Niall Horan was also in attendance
Harry Styles also paid his respects
Previously, the A Whole New World artist had also postponed dates in the American part of his tour following this profound loss.
Liam Payne and Zayn rose to staggering levels of celebrity back in 2010 when they, along with Harry, Niall, and Louis, were brought together to create One Direction on the X Factor.
Paying homage to the father who met an untimely death, Zayn confessed he “never got to thank” the late celebrity for his unwavering support in some of Zayn’s “most difficult” times.
Sharing his heart on Instagram, he opened up, writing: “Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can’t help but think selfishly that there was so many more conversations for us to have in our lives. I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life.
“When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved. Even though you were younger than me you were always more sensible than me, you were headstrong, opinionated, and gave no f—s about telling people when they were wrong.
“Even though we butted heads because of this a few times, I always secretly respected you for it. I was always happy to know, no matter what happened on stage, we could always rely on you to steer the ship right. Losing you felt like losing a brother, and it’s hard to express how much I’d give to just hug you one last time and say goodbye.”
