Talking in video footage shared on X on Friday, March 13, the man discussed his usual visits to the area with true crime investigator JLR Investigates. Asked if anyone has spoken to him about his knowledge of the area, Nancy, and other residents, he shared, “I haven’t spoken with no one before confirming “yes” when asked if that was a surprise to him.

He then elaborated further on his work in the area adding, “This is my first time back over here in probably, you know a couple of months, because she’s on a bi-monthly (Nancy’s neighbor,) so yeah, we take customers on a bi-monthly basis. It’s probably been about a year, maybe 8 months, since I last saw Ms Guthrie, in the morning. You know, ‘Hi Ms Guthrie, how are you.’” It comes after a chilling new theory emerged on how Nancy Guthrie was sickeningly taken from her home.

Maureen O’Connell spoke with true crime expert Brian Entin on his YouTube channel, where they discussed the disappearance of Nancy, 84, and highlighted some of the most recent developments. Brian then asked Maureen a telling question about whether or not she believes Nancy is still alive, 6 weeks on from her suspected abduction in the early hours of February 1.

Maureen appeared emotional as she said, “Do I think she’s alive now? I could just almost burst into tears because I was so hopeful for so long, but I think too much time has passed now. And I’m so sad about that.”

Meanwhile, former homicide detective Dale Lundberg has identified a distinctive characteristic about the suspected kidnapper from surveillance footage. Dale, who is working with investigators to review footage and pursue leads, suggested that the potential suspect appears to be a proficient shooter.

“I would not say that it’s necessarily military or police, but somebody who is experienced enough with firearms where he’s more comfortable carrying it in a holster than just shoving it into his waistband, like most thugs,” Dale explained during an appearance on the podcast Break the Case with Jen Coffindaffer.

Dale observed that most criminals don’t utilize holsters and that “officers and civilians who shoot a lot are really the only people who use holsters regularly.” He pointed out that throughout his career, he had “arrested and participated or assisted in the arresting of literally thousands of people,” and it was uncommon for the criminals he dealt with to use a holster.

As the search for Nancy continues, investigators have been examining a damaged utility box near her home in Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona, to explore a possible link to an internet outage reported around the time she was believed to have been abducted.

Among the evidence discovered are Black gloves containing DNA, which were found two miles from her residence and recently linked to a local restaurant employee with no connection to Nancy’s disappearance.

There was brief concern that Nancy might have been killed when a body was discovered in a Phoenix canal, but officials have since confirmed the deceased was another woman and not Nancy. It comes after Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor issued a chilling eight-word description of the suspected kidnapper.
