In October 2024, Statler shared screenshots of her conversation with Dempsey on WhatsApp where they seemed to be discussing what was next for them after their breakup. Statler mentioned that Dempsey owed her $19,000 for the van, which she told her she would pay after she was “paid from the show.” Statler claimed that instead of giving her the money, Dempsey was using it to travel the world with her new girlfriend.
